Sugaring Hair Removal Explained

Sugaring Hair Removal Explained

Sugaring is a form of hair removal using a cold sugar paste.

It looks like toffee when you first start but the paste colour changes as hair and dead skin cells are removed. It doesn’t remove live skin cells as waxing can.

What’s the difference between sugaring and other forms of hair removal?

Well for one it’s totally natural. No artificial or toxic ingredients like wax it’s less expensive than laser but can still get the same results (and no need to shave or wonder if it’ll work on you due to your hair or skin colour), quicker than plucking, no mess like depilatory creams, no needles like electrolysis and no pinch like threading.

Like I mentioned before, it’s a cold paste not heated like wax, so it can’t burn you!

It’s a natural exfoliate so your skin feels not only hair-free but silky soft as well.

If done properly there are no hair breakages, unlike waxing where the wax may not adhere properly and break the hair as it’s removed.

Sugar paste is applied against the hair and removed with the direction the hair is going, which helps reduce ingrown as well!

Like we mentioned before it’s totally natural and can be cleaned up with water so no sticky residue and no situations that need to be picked at!

As someone who has done her fair share of waxing, let me tell you I Love sugaring. For me, there’s no stress with application or removal and it’s a cleaner finish. Because it does take a little bit longer my clients don’t feel rushed and sometimes even fall asleep!

So, what will you choose as you look for a silky smooth you!

See you soon.
